Mercetech Sensors Privacy Policy

Mercetech Sensors Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 14, 2026

Mercetech Sensors is a companion application for connecting and configuring
compatible Mercetech Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) sensors. This policy explains
what information the app uses and how it is handled.

Information the app uses

The app uses Bluetooth access to discover, connect to, configure, and read
compatible Mercetech BLE sensors. This can include device identifiers,
connection status, signal strength, battery information, configuration values,
    calibration values, and sensor readings.

How information is stored

Device settings and sensor information used by the app are stored locally on
your device. The current app does not send this information to Mercetech,
advertising networks, analytics providers, or other third parties.

Information we do not collect

The current app does not require an account and does not collect your name,
email address, precise location, contacts, photos, advertising identifier,
    payment information, or browsing history.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share information from the app with third parties.
If a future version adds cloud sync, analytics, support diagnostics, or another
online service, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be
updated before that feature is introduced.

Data retention and deletion

Locally stored app data remains on your device until you remove it in the app,
clear the app's data, or uninstall the app. Sensor hardware may retain its own
configuration or readings independently of the app.

Children's privacy

Mercetech Sensors is intended for technicians, operators, and other users of
connected sensor hardware. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do
not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security

We use the platform's local storage and Bluetooth security features to help
protect information handled by the app. No method of storage or transmission
can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app's data practices change. The effective
date at the top of this page will be updated when a new version is published.
